CIGARS
- Backwoods promoted their new upcoming "Select" cigar line in an Instagram story and post. The packaging is a pouch with a clear window to see the product inside, an uncommon design in cigarillo packaging, and the blend descriptions emphasize the tobacco sources from “the top tobacco-growing regions in the world”: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Guatemala.
- Black & Mild sent an email to consumers highlighting metrics from its “Black Owned Business Initiative,” with the subject line, “Our Commitment to Black Entrepreneurs is Not a Trend.” Since 2020, the company (Middleton) has contributed nearly $4 million to nonprofits in Cleveland and Philadelphia and other grantees to support operating expenses and new infrastructure/education initiatives. Middleton primarily grants these funds to racial/economic equity non-profit groups, who disburse funding to Black-owned small businesses. Middleton plans to donate an additional $1 million in 2024.

- From the makers of Lost Mary comes the new Off-Stamp modular disposable vape. Off-Stamp is a vape that features a power bank battery charger that magnetizes onto a replaceable flavor pod. With replaceable pods and reusable batteries that are interchangeable, users can keep the battery to match with new pods for up to 56 total combinations, from eight flavors of pods and seven batteries. Quoting a brand product manager, “The attachable magnetic structure raises the bar of playfulness for this product. The plethora of icons on pod and battery, in different colors, are not only a bold statement of users' trait[s], but also encourage[s] them to share their batteries to explore."
