Ever and Current Commercial Tobacco and Nicotine Product Use in the United States: Tobacco Use Supplement (2022-2023)

CRST and CAsToR collaborated to present weighted prevalence estimates from analyses of the Tobacco Use Supplement (TUS) to the Current Population Survey, the largest nationally representative survey of adult tobacco use. The TUS is administered as part of the U.S. Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey approximately every 3-4 years. This brief presents results from the 2022-2023 TUS and includes estimated prevalence of ever and current use of commercial tobacco products, as well as current commercial tobacco product use by demographic characteristics.

This brief presents results from Wave 7 youth cohort, which was fielded January 2022 through April 2023, and includes estimated prevalence of ever and current use of commercial tobacco products, as well as current commercial tobacco product use by demographic characteristics.
